I originally developed Samplers as a way to show people some of the possible design options, but they look so lovely on the wall that we enjoy them as works of art as well!

One of my customers loves the Samplers so much she decided to create her own design for me to weave: a Diamond flanked by 2 Chevrons!  After I wrapped the reed in one direction, I coated it with amber shellac.  Then I wove in the designs using reed that I had prestained in a Sedona Red color.   It makes a wonderful work of Art!  (The last photo shows the back sides of the pieces.... fascinating in their own right!)
